NGC 6888 ”Crescent” Nebula is a large object formed like a bubble, placed in the constellation Cygnus.

The colours you see on this photo are due to the ionized gasses, probably from an exploding supernova. NGC 6888 lies about 4700 light years away, and expands by a speed around 30.000 km per hour. It has a diameter arount 25 light-years across.
