Messier 33 - RGB colour
Triangulum Galaxy = M33 = NGC598 - a prominent member of our Local Group. M33 (Triangulum) is a spiral Galaxy of type Sc - this means with a little central arm and quite open outer arms. M33 is smaller than our Milky Way - it consists of around 30 000 000 000 stars. The distance to M33 is 2.7 Mio Lightyears .
