While most of us had given up - with a sky absolutely closed by clouds - our astronomy student Jeppe Overbeck Petersen did continue his hunt for this years lunar eclipse.
At 0230 am Local Danish time - the clouds occasionally did allow a few holes, enough for Jeppe to shoot this RGB CCD colour image.
