BSP Students - June 20/21 - 2000. - 300 Sec CCD -. 5 " Meade APO - equipped with deep cooled AP6 CCD Camera

This Globular Cluster is placed within 22,200 Light Years Distance in Hercules. It contains 100,000 stars - this area has been surveyed as part of the scientific search for extra terrestrial radiosignals - however - so far without result. So, maybe Life is more precious - than we expect.

To the upper left - you may see a faint shadowlike galaxy - this is NGC 6207 at 46 million Light Years distance.

The Sun - June 21 - 2000. - Several sunspots visible -(high atmosphere turbulence due to extreme heat).
