Messier 13 - 100 000 stars at 22 000 Light Years Distance.

This Globular Cluster is placed within 22,200 Light Years Distance in Hercules. It contains 100,000 stars - this area has been surveyed as part of the scientific search for extra terrestrial radiosignals - however - so far without result. So, maybe Life is more precious - than we expect. To the upper left - you may see a faint shadowlike galaxy - this is NGC 6207 at 46 million Light Years distance.
