This comet was discovered Dec 14 2002 by two Japaneze amateur astronomers.

Comparing with the bright star right above the comet : ( HIP93632, TYC1586-4351-1 , magnitude 7.1) - the comet magnitude mccd becomes approximately 7.4 - a bit below the official predictions.

36 x 100 Sec Apogee AP6E CCD - non-flattened.

32 Bit FITS file Tail Length at image - 1 Degree = twice the Full Moons size.
