This comet was discovered Dec 14 2002 by two Japaneze amateur astronomers.

Comparing with the bright star right above the comet : ( HIP93632, TYC1586-4351-1 , magnitude 7.1) - the comet magnitude m^ccd becomes approximately 7.4 - a bit below the official predictions.
